Each Sampling System comes complete with chosen rope/tape, vapor valve storage tube, hard storage case, MMC Collar, Hermetic adapter and the Multi-Level Sampler (Brass or Stainless Steel).
The Multi-Level Sampler allows the operator to choose the type of sampler needed by selecting one of the various tops and bottoms included in the sampling kit. For example, for running samples, the user would choose the Adjustable top. For zone samples, the user would choose the zone bottom.
The Multi-Level Sampler may also be used for RVP sampling applications. By using the specially designed spring loaded bottom valve and the RVP funnel, the user is able to transfer gasoline without losing vapor pressure during the transfer process.
This grouping of hydrometers are not ASTM – but are enormously popular in the same applications as the ASTM 21 through 39H hydrometers. All are 165mm in length, graduated in 0.2 API divisions, and made to the same demanding tolerances as ASTM hydrometers. Each hydrometer can be ordered with or without NIST Traceable Report of Test by adding or removing the "C" to the catalog number.
Approximately 190mm (7-1/2″) Length. Thermometer in body. Not ASTM designated, but made to similar specifications. Popular due to the smaller sample amount (approx. 6 ounces) ounces needed to obtain a reading. Made to the same demanding tolerances as ASTM hydrometers. Accuracy: +/- 1 scale division.
